Lake Powell Fun

2 Weeks ago we went to Lake Powell and St George with Tylers family. It was tons of fun! We stayed in a hotel and went boating during the day. We got stormed out every day but it was always towards the end of the day so it worked out but man when the storms came it got scary and it was a race to get back to the dock before the waves got to big and you got pounded by the rain. The first day the waves got pretty big and the wake board rack fell off so we had to go back and get it. But no worries Cambri fell asleep from the bumpy ride. I was scared to take cambri because she had to wear a life jacket the whole time and I wasn't sure how she would handle it. Yeah, it wasn't her favorite thing but she actually did really well! She's such a trooper! My favorite part about lake powell is going through the canyons. Your boat gets right next to the big rocks, it's the neatest thing.

We went to St.George after for a couple days and went swimming and got to go to the Tuachan Theater to see Grease! It's a gorgeous outdoor theater surrounded by red rocks. Cambri had her first daycare experience since kids weren't allowed under 2. It was actually pretty neat. They called it "show care" and they had this little room with video cameras that you could go right out the theater and see what was going on and they also gave you a pager in case they needed you. Overall it was a great trip to be remembered and a fun bonding experience for the Babbs!
