4 years!

June 14th was our 4 year anniversary! To celebrate we left Cambri at home for the first time with Grandma and Grandpa and we ventured out on two night getaway to Park City. We stayed at the Park City Mountainside Marriott and had a great time swimming at the pools, shopping at the outlets, visiting olympic park, and especially going on the alpine slides, alpine coaster, and zip line! It was really nice to just be together for a whole day and do things we normally wouldn't be able to do with a baby. We sure did miss Cambri though and were excited to come home to her. Thanks for the great trip babe! 4 years and still going strong!!! Love you forever!

Oh funny story: So we thought it would be fun to go to a fancy restaurant on our anniversary. I found a discounted gift card on restaurants.com to a five star fancy restaurant in deer valley, looked perfect. Well we get there and the place is empty! There is one other couple and they were about to leave. It was also really old looking and they still had Christmas Garlands up! But we had the gift card already so we were going! On the website everyone said the fondue was amazing so I thought we should order it even though it was $38! It better be dang good fondue. Well it was ok, but not even that good, it came out in an old pot and served with bread, broccoli, and apple slices. Definitely not worth $38! We then decided to try something new and split a meal of Elk. It actually was ok, but it was just all these taste that we weren't used to so it was just that..ok. It was more of a joke than a romantic dinner. We were the only one there most of the meal and we had two servers helping us. We found out some famous  people have been there like conan o'brien and that Mitt Romney and his "crew" were coming the following week. I'm sure it just wasn't crowded because it was off season on a weekday. But we decided fancy restaurants just aren't for us. Not worth the money. At least I had a coupon :)

  1. Fun trip! I showed Ryan the alpine slide video and he said "What is that?" and when I told him it was Auntie Cheryl going down a really big slide he said "Oh gosh! That took a really long time!!"
