We didn't have any kids to go on an egg hunt with Cambri so we thought it would be fun to go to one of the many community easter egg hunts the day before Easter. If there's so many they cant all be crowded right? Wrong! It was insane how many people there were! We first went to the BYU one. They pretty much fence off a big circle for different egg categories and throw a bunch of eggs in the middle. Your lucky if you get two eggs. We decided since BYU was so crowded to head over to another. Just as we were leaving they started the older age egg hunt. Tyler picked up Cambri and took her right in the middle to get an egg.
The riverwoods egg hunt turned out to be an egg drop. Even worse idea! They drop two pinata eggs filled with candy from the top of the building and the kids race to get candy. Then they throw candy into the audience. Cambri of course didn't get anything. BUT luckily the easter bunny was there and Cambri was SO excited to get to hug the bunny.
So then we stopped by Tylers Grandparents and his Grandma wanted to give Cambri an easter egg hunt. She had mini chocolate eggs she put in the lawn and Cambri actually loved finding them. It was pretty cute.
But yeah those big hunts are pretty ridiculous. Next time we'll just have to get some friends together
and make our own.
